Georg Turi is Head of Data Science & Advanced Analytics for Cognizant in Germany, where he leads all analytics & AI work across all of Cognizant's industry verticals. In his current role his mission is to provide clients AI-enabled analytics and insights services to leverage performance improvement, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, all the way from consulting and solution development to managed services and COE setup. In an adjunct role, he leads all efforts in Real World Evidence analytics in Life Sciences and Health Care for Cognizant in Europe. Prior to Cognizant he assumed roles as principal SME to build capability and lead teams to agile solutions and was Head of Advanced Analytics & Data Science Practice for Adastra in Germany. Prior to Adastra, he was analytics R&D advisor in international research and directed the Imaging Analytics Lab at the Goethe University. Georg has over 15 years of data science and advanced analytics experience gained in global industry, analytics consulting, and international research. He pursued his PhD and MSc in Computer Science and Bioinformatics/Physics at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research and at the Goethe University Frankfurt.
